Tahini Honey Glaze Donuts With Halva
Ingredients
For the Donuts:
- 2 packages Platinum Yeast from Red Star
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 2 whole eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 6 - 6 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting surface
- Vegetable oil, for frying
For the Tahini Honey Glaze:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup tahini
- ¼ cup honey
- 1/4 cup milk, or more as needed for thinning
- 1 ¼ cup powdered sugar
- Pinch of salt
For Garnish
- Halvah strands, for garnish
- Black sesame seeds, for garnish
