Pico De Gallo

Making salsa from scratch is a fun way to spice up your taco bar or switch up your mid-day chips and dips! Pico De Gallo is the easiest salsa ever with just tomato, onion, jalapeño, garlic, cilantro, lime zest, lime juice, salt, and pepper. It’s a great recipe to start off your salsa making adventures! Once you’ve tried this one I suggest giving my Chipotle Salsa or Salsa Verde a try!

Pico De Gallo

  • 4 plum tomatoes chopped
  • 1 large white onion chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 jalapeno minced
  • 1 lime zest and juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper freshly ground


  • Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl. Taste and adjust the seasoning to your liking. Serve immediately or store in container for up to a week.
