Meet Gaby Dalkin

Gaby Dalkin is a food blogger, cookbook writer and recipe developer.  If you haven’t already checked out Gaby’s daily blog, What’s Gaby Cooking, you are definitely missing out! Gaby’s blog is my favorite food blog. She is a super successful blogger with over 150,000 followers on Instagram. I check her blog everyday to see her latest post. Whether it’s a recipe, an “Obsessed” post, or about her latest travels, it’s all super interesting and fun to read.

As I mentioned above, Gaby has an “Obsessed” section on her blog where she features people, products, and cookbooks that she loves. Aside from her mouthwatering recipes, that is the part of her blog that interestes me the most. This is where I got the idea to start an “Obsessed” section on my own blog. Check out her “Obsessed”section -> here!
Finally, one big thing that we have in common is that we both LOVE avocados. When I tell you that she has over 200 (yes, I’ve counted) avocado recipes on her blog, I’m not kidding!
Gaby has even written a cookbook all about avocados called “Absolutely Avocados”. It is full of super awesome avocado recipes! You need to check it out. You can buy the book Amazon -> here!

Watch me teach you how to make Chipotle at home on Watch me teach you how to make Chipotle at home on YouTube.com/EITAN in my brand new video! (LINK IN BIO) I am recreating Chipotle's iconic Carne Asada with their famous guacamole, pico de gallo, and cilantro lime rice; all served up in a taco!

The inspiration for this video came from Chipotle’s commercial for their then-new carne asada offering. The employee in the video claims that “it’s bomb steak,” and, after seeing that commercial for the 100th time, I had to recreate it for myself! What makes this recipe a perfect duplicate is the marinade. It is jam-packed with flavor! Lime juice and orange juice are the perfect complements here; lime brings bright, citrus acidity, and OJ brings tang and sweetness.

The best thing about a recipe like this one is the versatility. If your go-to order is a bowl, skip the tortillas, if you’d rather have a salad, grab some romaine, and for the truly brave, attempt to roll up your own enormous burrito. The ingredients work however you need them to! And as always, the written recipe is on EitanBernath.com!
